Worcester Cathedral Chamber Choir
An honour to sing the cathedral services last weekend for the @Elgar Festival, marking also the 75th anniversary of the @Elgar Society. Elgar’s stirring anthem 'Great is the Lord' had added impact, and the service finale was a 'pinch me' moment as we processed down the cathedral to the Elgar memorial window and awaited the following congregation, including Hilary Elgar, to the sounds of Nimrod played serenely on the organ by @Nicholas Freestone.
